Day 5
Rising at 8, we decided to take a day off from cycling, and tour the engineering firm that our friend runs. After, we went to Pittsford for lunch, and had a nice meal right on the Erie Canal, and watched pleasure craft glide up and down the canal.
Arriving back at the house, we both took well needed naps, and blogged and read books. After another healthy dinner, we took in a little more DNC, before I connected to the internet and put up a new post on the blog.

We are running on a severe bunny deficit here, but I am glad you took a rest. It’s important to enjoy yourself. You don’t want it to turn into work.

Hey Nate, I am really glad to read about your adventures. I get details that don’t come through in the phone conversations.

School started and I ran out of time so I just (Sunday night) had a real nice time reading your first five installments. Lovin’ it, thanks for sharing. I groaned out loud while reading about having to lift the trailer and bikes over the trees on the canal trail; and with all that I can hardly believe the progress you’re making. Who’s in charge of keeping track of the road kill? Sam, that is totally gruesome but funny. (Now that I think about it, is “alive” implied in the bunny count?)
